We were working on a final version of the report on fluidization of life at the ecosystem, the results of a long series of close and detached meteorological observation and laboratory experimentation, but we were suddenly surrounded by an extremely cold front. Everything felt back to an identical solid state and nobody asked about the newly formed gases.
Now, we are back at the laboratory, observing the singular phenomenon of direct evaporation of ice.

now, we are expecting a resurge of ice. there are reports from agricultural battlefields that this wave of ice is successfully de-feating the pest away. that is good news for us indolent but expecting people. we are putting off the fire for the ice to penetrate into every hole on earth. it may kill some of us, the weak, the old, the naphtivore, and a few other species, but we smile at the mortal strike against the pest; a mutated technological product that nourished and survived on the dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane we the nescient applied in the battlefield: it served them as nutrient proteins.
